Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will."

This verse also reminds me of the importance of humility and surrender. It is easy to become arrogant and self-reliant when we achieve success or hold positions of power. However, as this verse suggests, even the most powerful individuals are ultimately subject to the will of God. It is important to acknowledge our dependence on God and to seek his guidance and wisdom in all that we do.
